Danica Patrick is getting her country on! The 31-year-old car-racing star has been tapped to cohost Fox’s 2013 American Country Awards alongside singer Trace Adkins on Dec. 10. Patrick will be cohosting live when the show broadcasts from the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
In addition to serving as the evening’s host, Adkins will also perform ‘Carol of the Drum’ (‘Little Drummer Boy’), from his upcoming Celtic-infused Christmas album, ‘The King’s Gift.’ He will be joined for the song by legendary drummer Kenny Aronoff and other special guests for the holiday tune
The two-hour live music spectacular offers country music fans the opportunity to vote for their favorite artists not only in traditional categories, but also in a previously unrecognized area of the business - touring - encompassing the entire spectrum of country music.
